Module 6- Changemakers Module

My initiative started with outreach in Assam, my home state. The industry is currently spread across India. In every state or union territory, I have traveled to since I joined the changemakers module, my idea of Impact has changed drastically. When I started the initiative, I was solo all alone, but in the last month, it seems the universe has begun pouring people into my Lap. So many people have reached out to support in any way possible. The ripples of change have become visible, and these individuals are not directly related to my work, but my story on social media has moved them deeply, so they want to come for my help. I have psychologists, engineers, policy professionals, doctors, and corporate people who shared how they would like to be a part of the mission. In the last two months, I have met multiple people both online and offline in different cities of India, talked to survivors, and went to International borders to map out the underlying causes so I can be more strategic and carve out a strategic plan to implement different measures through which the heinous crime can be prevented. I hope to focus on three aspects of prevention, rescue, and Rehabilitation of survivors and vulnerable people and conduct research. In this regard, I am developing teams of volunteers who can assist and help me with the necessary support. World Pulse has been a great support, especially with the fundraising and networking sessions, which clarified how to be more specific and reach people. Recently I was selected for a fellowship where I took the survivor I rescued. It was mindblowing and gave me hope that my survivors would be decision-makers, sit with all of us at the same table and create a change. I am a storyteller who loves sharing stories, and the world Pulse has fueled me entirely.
