Module 4 initiative. Fighting the obstacles of lif

As a victim of gender based violence I came across so many challenges in life and it was as if all is ended. But being a woman who has been struggling with her challenges as concerns gender based violence in all aspects/forms from childhood gave me the spirit to see how I can help others too. At one time, all hope was lost and I thought of giving up life or just being myself and let be. But what disturbs me most is conscience especially when I see women and young girls in a terrible situation. Being mocked at especially when you are facing challenges and depressed or in pains makes women and the girls having negative thoughts about their lives. My first activity with these women and girls was linking them to attend AntenataL care as early as possible for proper follow up but that wasn't enough as per what I was doing. This is because I realized that the rate of unwanted pregnancy increases every day and as it is increasing, there is high death rate, increase in abortion, high birth rate, domestic violence etc. I realized it was necessary to implement the family planning method to reduce this hazard.  

Assisting me with funds will really help me go a long way to add other methods of family planning such as intrauterine device, jadelle etc such that those younger women who do not know how to use condoms will go in for the other methods. With this funds it will help me to support so many women and girls to be able to plan for the future especially in the rural and urban areas. Family planning is one of the means which I know it will be helpful to women in my community. Right now am managing with the female and the male condoms and the other methods are still pending due to lack of sufficient finances. If I could have some support, I would have gone a long way in my project. These women are suffering from rape, assault, domestic violence etc.
