Crisis and boko Haram survivors

As I walk into the compound where different bacha (buildings made if wood and roofing sheets)are erected, you would hear the voices of different children of different ages, Mrs chika, Gaia. These children are the highlight of my week. They are all survivors of horrific incidents. They are sole survivors of the boko Haram crisis that has been a menace to Plateau State Nigeria where I reside. These TITANS have been to hell or hades and back. Take Cynthia who saw her mum cut down the middle and her unborn sister unceremoniously thrown into a burning fire. Or Amos who held his father and 3 brothers while they bled out as he watched his mum and 2 sisters drink poison rather than become sex slaves to boko Haram members. Ajik was hidden in a ditch by her parents and elder brother while she watched them be slaughtered and her mum raped to death. Each of these children have a tale to tell that is so horrific that your stomach churns. But when you hear their stories of recovery, even though the journey is far from over, you Wii come to understand that they conquered HADES and not just survived but triumphed. They are a mismatched Family that I love. Training them in STEM and entprenurship skills has been a joy. I have seen them withdrawn to the point of being put on suicide watch and I have seen them flourish to be rays of sunlight. They are TITANS and they rule HADES.
