Mentorship The Drive for Economy Empowerment/

Today, it of no surprised to us as enterprises, organization and even local governmental organization are all adapting the strong drive of mentorship in their programs or activities line up. This concept was long ago birth even in time is the good old book. Looking at Timothy under studying Paul was a long time concept of mentorship.

Mentorship mostly is about under studying a particular person, organization and or institution because of their outstanding performance. The drive behind is to impact the Mentee profitably, excuse me I am speaking in terms of business.

There are a lots of things one have to consider before wanting to offer once service in both category. Ask yourself this question: what do you or I hope to gain from this program? This question is for both parts, if you get the answer then your objective is clearly define.

I mean this is so important because you all boy have to benefit from it. It's not a one way affair. If you are the Coach, it means the benefit for you is to help develop your skills depending on which field or subject you intend to develop on. You do carry this message to the coaches in a respectful and in agreement with all of you, your terms and conditions.

In a like way manner the coaches must also settle with what is beneficial to the person and most importantly focus on learn new stuffs from the mentor. I believe if we all got such goals of mentoring, it will be a success for both and we will all enjoy it.

However, if care is not taken mentorship becomes very difficult when we allow conscious and unconscious bias sets in. We all know what it is to be bias, judging without facts or source, base on reconceived knowledge or learning.

At times when we are growing we hear things about people's, group of people, community, languages, tribes, and even countries a pre conceived information about such and if we not careful or erase it in our mind it will be difficult for a mentor to widen out in terms of coaching.

To be a good mentor you must be ready to empty your mind all saying. If you filled your minds with the above it definitely will be difficult to do mentorship in a wide range. Especially, for example a racist who have to mentor a group of people's that falls under the categories of their group. 

In this case it will be difficult because already the person's mind is filled with wrong information about just group of people's or person.

In conclusion, I love to advice all of us in the mentorship categories to both empty our minds about any misconceptions towards a person, people's, languages, tribes, communities, and or country to enable them mentor well and benefit from the Mentee.
