Menstruation celebrates life!

Dear Great Grand Mothers, Grand Mothers, Mothers, Aunties,  Women, and Sisters, We are female. For us women, GOD and some one say the higher source has decreed a different experience in this life than our male members on this earth. Our sentence(life) is much more difficult than men and this is a biological natural fact. Some of us experienced our first period between 11 and 16 years of age and some sooner and more after these listed ages. Periods, pregnancy and childbirth and yes let us not forget raising children to death do we part. Women are in charge of all of these roles and more and even raising and nurturing men! We go through all of this and more and men do not experience this and we appreciate the men in our lives whom are there for us with respect and compassion. This I am very appreciative of but unfortunately I know many women whom have not this appreciated experience.  We are grateful to the higher source for these experiences because  thanks to these pain and hardships we are complete. After hardship come ease. Life is unpredictable and has many curve balls to throw our way and our bodies. But change is promised to us and with that promise , we are also hopeful for a change for the better in these uncertain times. When I see and read about women whom are the founder Presidents of their Nonprofits and NGOs as I am, I am thrilled of the position they have taken on and creating solutions and solving problems on the topic of hygiene and menstruation for our young girls health. Girls whom are born and reside in developing countries are at a better advantage resourcefully speaking but even so we are also talking also about income and availability to afford sanitary hygienic products and for our girls residing in countries that are still making strides in economic development for example Senegal where my Nonprofit is located we are well aware of the challenges these girls face everyday from dropping out of school and from not attending in the first place because of a lack of income in their households to be able to afford monthly sanitary napkins and so on. Menstruation sparks a new beginning in a girl's life that can ignite fear and unpredictability about her body. If we are empowered to create and bring resources that is connected to change then for sure we are educated to to teach and inspire our girls to embrace change. Change for us at charity QUEEN SHEBA VILLAGE means we stay in connection to resources which spells partnerships and collaborations. Information brings change for the better and how we utilize it can be the result of happiness and success. 

Menstruation, which means our bodies can produce a new life and this is a celebration, not a curse as some cultures have been taught for centuries. A lack of education is a curse resulting in impoverished minds that results in impoverished societies. Why should a woman or a girl face shame and humiliation from a natural biological phenomenon?  Unfortunately this is the case for many around the world still in the twenty first century! Men cannot and I repeat will never experience the pain and hardships women endure because simply it is not their decree or role to, but at the same time we need men to embrace education and understanding because after all this is the very way or lack of a missed menstruation cycle that also men came into life through woman, their mothers.  I was a obviously a young girl at a time in my life, now a fulfilled woman with grandchildren and I have accepted my role in educating both men and women of the mission we have not only in African but everywhere I reside and travel. I am witnessing change however slow but promising.

Motherhood and femininity- the most sacred and beautiful, yet the most challenging test of women worldwide! There can never ever be humanity without women, never! Not to jog into religion or what one may refer to spirituality is to quote Muhammad(Peace be upon him) said:  Where do you find Paradise? The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “ Paradise is at the feet of the mother.”

Women validate your being and your higher self because i know it can become contagious to inspire change and to add we work and engage with men whom respect that.
