This is a very unfortunate day for every person who deals with menstruation cycles. While wearing my sanitary napkin. I found something that looked dark brown and yellow from the outside. So, I decided to cut it and see what could be inside the napkin. I found a rotten piece of wood inside my sanitary napkin. Some dirty liquid was oozing out from it. It was such a horrifying experience. If one could not have seen it, it would have led to the development of some serious infections in my private part, which could lead to my death or at least a permanent illness.
This is just because some employee working at the factory was careless and more was their supervisor who controlled the quality in the produce section. Is sanitation too much to expect from a "sanitary" napkin? WHO believes menstrual hygiene is a Human rights issue and not a hygiene issue. After paying the required amount of money, illness is what I get? Research proves many people who menstruate have died from lack of sanitation.
I shall be filing a complaint against the Sofy company Pvt ltd under the Consumer Protection Act,2019. I hope we shall spread awareness about such an irresponsible act.
