Menstrual Health Management



 



Menstrual health is an important part reproductive health of a woman, which not only
includes aspects of physical health, but also aspects of health mental, spiritual and social. A woman needs
knowing the pattern and distance of each menstruation, so that it can judge when something out of the ordinary happens. Obligation to maintain health and hygiene related Menstruation is often overlooked. Factors that cause it
partly because of ignorance or because of lack of attention in following what should be done.
In addition, adequate support facilities are very important, especially in public places such as schools, houses of worship,
tourist attractions, hospitals, stations, markets and others.
Research conducted in Asia, Africa, and Latin America describes some of the challenges faced women, such as poor access to complete information about menstruation, lack of knowledge to manage menstrual blood, inadequate water, sanitation and facilities inadequate, misleading socio-cultural beliefs and taboos. That matter impact on behavior restriction, discomfort
adolescent girls and reproductive health risks.
