Meet Gabson and other kids in the village

Last Friday the 31st of March, I traveled to the village where the land is being cleared for building to start once we find the support and resource.  I was led by my spirit to focus on the children this trip, andI got two packets of lolipops and a packet of 50 biscuits.  I went round sharing and the first kids went and told all the others. They all came running to me except my friend Gobson who really can't run. He was born with various infirmities including a slurred speech, making it difficult for him to run , play with the others and express himself.

I first met Gobson at the palace the last time I was there when there was a funeral and he didn't know how to go get himself some food or a bottle of juice. I noticed him as I was doing the dishes and was shocked when his attempt to go into the main house to get food was shunned. He was even asked to leave where he was sitting and go sit faraway under the sun. I got up, went and got him food, and later a bottle of juice. That's how we became friends.

He lost his mother to epilepsy when he was a baby, she had fallen into a fire. So sad. He told me to bring him a football next time and it's my hope that having the ball will make the other kids come closer to him.

My other friends there include Prince and Princess, Quineva and baby sister and many others. I can't wait to go back on the 20th hoping to have gotten some stuffs and financial support from the Donation Drive my organization Hope for the Abused and Battered did yesterday.
