Mandating Fathers to be responsible

Change.org Nigeria is commemorating 16 days of activism against gender-based violence. Sixteen petitions will be shared from November 25th to December 10th to highlight several issues affecting women in Nigeria, and we are counting on your support.

Many Nigerian mothers who become single after a divorce often have to fend for their kids alone. This doesn’t only have an effect on their mental health but also their physical health as they have to shoulder all responsibilities all by themselves. My petition is asking the National Assembly to create legislation mandating Fathers to be responsible for their children.
