Making an educated woman, A leader

equality

in Pakistan, education is still a problem for many females. recently I completed my 3rd year of law and now I used to be at home owing to my semester break. My parents always want me to be a multiskilled person, that's why they sent me to a vocational institute to have beautician training.

the most jaw-dropping thing that I got to know there is that i being a 3rd-year law student was the most educated student. my other colleagues in the beautician class are having a matric standard education or a little more or less. when I asked them about carrying higher education, I only got that they are not permitted to have more education.

this is really heart-trenching for me. Article 25 of the constitution of Pakistan guarantees equality of citizens, but in rural or lower areas it seems to be like a myth. Article 25 A talks about right of education that too is lacking.

i feel like women have to face discrimination at every stage of their lives either it can be a priority given to their brothers by the mothers, either it can be this simple word that you are a woman so not permitted at all, either it can be in your class room or either on your work place by giving priority to male.

i joined law school as i always wanted to do something different, in past 3years i've met so many girls who wanted to pursue law but they were not permitted by their parents i really made me sad.

now i always motivate girls to do what they want and to make them feel special by letting them know of their rights that are secured by constitution.

education is a backbone to remove gender discrimination. no one can do this but we can because we can be that one who can motivate our younger girls.

so here on the plateform of world pulse i'm filing this appeal that we must raise our voices for education becuase this is the only way to remove gender discrimination.

lets all write for the right of free education for females inorder to have a strenghtened society.

i want my voice of equality to rise high in this sky so making a fair and just society. where women pwill be leaders.
