M2 Update: The POWER to make money work for you

We hold power within us.  We have the power to create or resist a change.  It is you who have the power to change how you look at with your finances.

My initiative is about Financial Literacy which most thought we know how to manage our finances, but we still struggle to make enough money to meet our financial obligations.

One thing I learned is to improve ourselves and our attitude towards money (behavior change).  We have the Power Within.. having sense of self-worth, self-confidence, self-esteem, identity and dignity.  Thus, having to understand the Power Within, then we can have the Power To.. where we can have the ability to act, make decisions and create change of our financial situations.

There are some instances that we cannot do it by ourselves, we need to be in a group that involves working together and support each other.

I once joined a group where we pool money to provide members access to useful lump sums to meet predictable expenses, facilitate household cash-flow management and make a short-term investment in income-generating activities.  It is simple savings and loan facilities in a community that does not have access to formal financial services.

This community-based groups teaches individual to change behavior, to have the power within where you have a sense of self-worth when it comes to money.  It empowers individual because the concept teaches you to be independent and to have a self-managed of your finances.  You will not be alone because you are in a group of people who are responsible with their savings and loans.

This strategy can as well be effective within your Family, where member of your family can be involved together, on how each can save and be responsible.  Your family is your community, who can be an advocate of a change that money can work with you.

I believed that, Financial Literacy can be effective when each has behavioural change about money, having the right knowledge and to be in a community that build and support each other.
