Lockdown also did good to the society

PPE Kit

The general perception is that girls are disciplined and boys spoiled brat & outgoing (exceptions considered). It was punishment for boys and on the other hand, girls had to play the role of colonel in the house with the ready checklist - safe distance, wash hands properly, masks & sanitizer, disinfect parcels & packets, wash vegetables, extra cleanliness around, refrain spit-sneeze in public, avoid surface-touch in public places, keep close watch on persons around.

All of these were necessary always, but we started forgetting, breaking the rules - which this lockdown reminded all of us strongly. The best thing happened is that the boys learnt living with short supply and scarcity, ratio-proportion of ingredients in any dish, process and observation, peeling-cutting, fry-roast-boil timings, cleaning floor and utensils, running kitchen appliances and washing machine, putting clothes to dry, arrange, press & keep properly in the cupboard. Even the dirt mark on sofa, door, window, wall, ceiling, electrical switches & equipment were not acceptable. Grooming of boy is also a must for their solo-stays. Delegation of tasks, shift, schedule, roster became the point of discussion in the house itself. Even TNI (training need identification) were applied & scheduled.

All the arrangements were made for needful items. But, it was also noticed that non-essential items (tobacco, alcohol, dining out, long drive, socializing) were disturbing the mental peace of many. Irrespective of economic strata and monthly-budget, people spend a lot for these non-essentials. When we will grow and be responsible?
