Local School's Efforts > #BeYouBeMe

Here's what a local Brampton Middle School is doing:

\"Since we spoke last one of our passionate young teachers has inspired her students to organize a campaign to support the First Nation's people in the community of Attawapiskat. They are baking cupcakes, painting nails and providing other services to raise funds. Some other girls want to do henna painting to raise more money. Another teacher has revived a campaign to collect milk bags to be woven into sleeping mats for people in Haiti. And yesterday some of the social leaders from our #BeMeBeYou campaign that we initiated in the new year gave a great presentation to the whole school. They also shared a brief video that Ellen DeGeneres put together, featuring celebrities speaking out against bullying.\"
