LIVING LIFE TO ITS FULLEST AFTER ESCAPING ABUSE

LIVING LIFE TO ITS FULLEST AFTER I ESCAPE ABUSE

After surviving decades of abuse, I channeled my grief into helping others find healing as a Europe Ambassador, Advocate, Researcher, Storyteller, and Author.

"There is life after abuse, and I am living proof. I said yes to me, and I want other women to be able to do the same." Elena Georgiou - my interview: https://youtu.be/8hDtRu5wRNo

It only takes one person to make a difference, but many people together can make a change, and I am delighted to be sharing my story with you and making an impact in the world.

First, let me introduce myself. I am Elena Georgiou.

  • I am a Policymaker & Researcher on Domestic & Campus violence.
  • I am The Voice of the Voiceless Women of Domestic and campus violence, fighting to end abuse and help other women break the silence and escape abuse.

·   Finally, at 38 years old, I passed the entrance exams to study and fulfill all my childhood dreams that I wasn't allowed to do when I was 18. I received a bachelor's in Sociology and a Master's in European Studies, which is a significant accomplishment. So, I transformed from victim to survivor to a life-winner and accomplisher.

This story is dedicated to all women that are victims of abuse to inspire them to follow my lead and break the silence. There is life after abuse, and I am living proof. I said YES to me and NO to my abusers, and I want other women to be able to do the same.

After surviving decades of abuse, I decided that I had enough, and instead of sitting in misery land, I chose to do something else. I decided not to live an ordinary life but an extraordinary life full of joy, laughter, and accomplishments, and I succeeded in doing this.

As a warrior woman, I have my motto: When the going gets tough, the tough get going. But when there is a will, there is always a way. As a warrior, I discovered my mission, which was tied up in my wound. But I also found my sword of light, and it's my Voice, truth, and justice; all these are sources of power that I use daily.

My call to justice came from a deeply personal experience, yet it serves humanity and the collective. My mission came from the inside out and transformed my suffering into purpose. Through my life's hardships, I accepted that I was made for this. Nothing could break me. My wounds were my source of empowerment. That's how I discovered my true calling, passion, purpose, and my unique critical mission in service to humanity.

I also decided to use my powerful VOICE and STORY to raise awareness to help others escape abuse as I did and accomplish my mission: To be the Voice of the voiceless and the leader I was destined to be.

It takes a lot of courage and vulnerability to break the silence and open up worldwide, especially for victims, but I decided to do it. My intention in sharing my story is not to blame anyone that took part in my journey. Still, I intend to raise awareness, hope, and healing in the world and inspire and encourage other victims or survivors to escape and break the silence.

I lived a challenging journey, a journey of Domestic Violence.

People sometimes ask me why I am still single. I reply to them: I am single, not because I am broken, hurt, sad, unhealed, or afraid to fall madly in love. The opposite is happening in my life. I am healed, whole, and a true Warrior of the heart, saving myself for my king, the right one, that is not afraid to love with all his heart and is a Warrior of the heart also like me.

So, until this great union happens…………………. watch my powerful story approximately 20 days from now as a Guest speaker at The Ms. Texas Show.

My show link is the following: https://youtu.be/3ob7DbDrjkI

Don't miss out on my show of a little girl that was taught to be a victim, married her abuser, escaped from this dark tunnel and into the light, and transformed today to be a Warrior of the heart. I am not afraid to be alone anymore because the sun is alone, and it is still shining. I am like the sun and will continue to shine my light in this world and make an impact.

Stay tuned for more of Elena's inspiring stories.
