Life Skills & Mentoring Through Play

AIESEC student members

Skills Maishani through it's AdvoGames Initiative organized a life skills mentoring workshop with young people from the University of Nairobi whose theme focused on learning about SRH and Safety Practices. The session was conducted in a fun and interactive way using gamified resource materials, focus group discussions and an open plenary session where youths were free to share their experiences, ask questions and we got to deconstruct some of the issues highlighted in the games leaving them knowledgeable and confident in applying the life skills acquired in their day to day activities .

Some of the resource materials included crossword puzzle, tell me about game, path maze and an activity book for youths.

The activity book for youths is a game book with gamified real scenarios with key lessons on issues of reproductive health and safety practices.
