Letter to my Dear One My family lives in a global village connect by telecommunications. Just before the youngest left for University I got hooked to Pulsewire and it came up in an discussion with my husband and he realized that he was the only one out of touch with my engagement with Pulsewire and he asked, “what on earth is Pulsewire?” Pulsewire is where I meet new friends and we share our stories, encourage each other, build more confidence, speak for ourselves and express our views. Pulsewire is the space I feel at home to discuss issues of gender equality, gender based violence but more-so meet empowered women who speak for themselves and for other women in a mature context. It is the living room where the family meets feel relaxed, share their emotions and receive support from family members. It is this space that is comfortable enough to keep me awake until late into the night to write, read or comment on issues of interest to me. Darling, I hope you now know what Pulsewire is all about for me.
