Mothers: Oppressed Treasures who Endevour and become Reigning Heroines and Mentors
Mothers, people who make me have a mix feelings depending on geo-spacial context.

Upon congratulating mothers, I keep a minute of silence for those who lost their lifes in the process of child birth. They are mothers. As we celebrate mothers, I join children and relations of such, to keep silence but on the other hand, is calling for a right to safe delivery on the part of negligent governments who think,do not think maternal deaths is a call for concern. This is especially in most parts of rural Africa where, lack of health facilities and, traditional practices have lead to lots of maternal deaths.

I also remember those women especially in Africa who are being tortured and tormented in their marital homes because of, their incapacity bring forth a desired sex, conceive or bear children.

I futher remember some of my high school and university traumers. These two expectant women who lost their life as a result of domestic violence, they impregnated you, yet ambushed and smatched you respectively to death. Although, you died expectant with the foetus, as one who wishes to and is crying loud for the basic right to dignity for women, your experience is inspiring. Your traces will fan the wind of change.

The storm will be over. The wind of womens rights is blowing, though weaker than the storm one might say, this wind is an indication of a mighty rain. The rain that will cause strong walls to be built.Walls that no storm will destroy .

Happy mothers day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
