Learning to Find My Own Path 🌱
Sometimes, I think about how quickly life moves and how, at some point, we all begin to feel like we should have everything figured out.
Growing up, I always thought that by a certain age, I would know exactly who I wanted to be, what I wanted from life, and how I was going to achieve it. But the older I get, the more I realise that life doesn't always follow the plans we make for ourselves.
There are moments when you look at other people and wonder if you're doing enough. You see people achieving things, finding their place in the world, and seemingly knowing exactly where they're going. Meanwhile, you're still learning about yourself, making decisions, changing your mind, and trying to understand what kind of future you really want.
I've come to realise that there's nothing wrong with that.
I'm learning that growing up isn't just about achieving things or meeting expectations. It's also about discovering who you are, learning from your mistakes, and having the courage to choose a path that feels right for you, even when it looks different from what you once imagined.
One thing I find beautiful is that everyone has a different story. We come from different countries, families, cultures, and backgrounds, and we all carry experiences that shape the people we become. Sometimes, hearing someone else's story can teach you something about your own life.
That's one of the reasons I find connecting with people from different parts of the world so interesting. There's so much we can learn from one another if we're willing to listen.
I may not have everything figured out yet, but I'm learning to be patient with myself and appreciate the person I'm becoming.
And maybe that's enough for now. 🌷
I'd love to know: Have you ever changed your plans for your life after discovering something new about yourself? What did that experience teach you?
