His Lingering Perfume is a short, cheesy, and light-hearted romance with a realistic representation of everything that a reader may want and expect from this kind of story.

The best part of the narrative is that Sarah has decided not to name the characters instead they are represented as him or her. The story is delivered on every front. A relatable heroine whom It is impossible to avoid and not to fall in love with. Different kinds of humour and hilarious events encircle the story and something that a reader’s heart desires, and just the right dose of delicious steam.

The most unique thing I noticed in this narrative is the level of detail among the characters. Sarah has kept the world-building very simple and concentrated more on the main potential characters and built the story around them. The language is simple and lucid at the same time she has poured down her feelings based on her own life experience.

While It took me a while to write this review. I loved the story and so I re-read it over and over again, and it was hard to put into words. His Lingering Perfume is the perfect combination of soft romance, slow burn, and a very fast pace read. I am in love with Sarah’s voice, and I cannot wait to read what she writes next.
