It's a curse to be a Woman

I'm the member of this forum for few months and has not been able to actively participate due to terrible political and economical condition of our country.

My heart breaks into million pieces when I want to talk about what has been happening in my country PAKISTAN for the last few weeks.

There was an arrest of the popular leader and former prime minister of our country was arrested in Ill  respected manner.

Hundreds of workers, followers and citizen came out to protest on the road. They were badly mishandled and arrested by security forces on a larger scale.

But I'm here to talk about hmwhat they have specifically done and still doing to the women of our country. Hundreds of respectable, educated and decent ladies, be it social workers, students, lawyers, doctors and house wives were dragged on the road while arresting.

They are being sickly mistreated, raped and beaten in a custody in which they are in miserable condition. They are being kept in C Class Man jail.

And I can't even write about what is happening to them while in custody.

As a woman, as a human I'm ashamed of myself.

Im ashamed of my authorities and all the security forces which are letting it happen to their own Daughters, Sisters and Mothers. They are being treated in a disgusting way possible. Several cases are being charged against them and their families are suffering in an unimaginable way.

I request to all of you to raise your voice and show your support to all those Pakistani women who are in Jail. Not for any political purposes but for their rights as a human beings.
