initiative

It was just a thought to make it discussed!

Making mental health simple was only an idea! I've started with You are not alone - Human is near you. My journey has begun after receiving 250 messages in less than 30 minutes praising my initiative. I made it obvious that I wanted to demonstrate the idea that a problem shared is a problem half-solved. The terms "psychologist," "depression," and "mental health" are not necessary. We can improve the world such that fewer people become patients.

I clearly recall our initial talk with the woman whose husband had deserted her. Her husband and daughter were present. Her parents refused her request to return to their home and advised her to persuade her husband instead.

However, because he suspected she was having an affair, her husband was not willing to retain her in their home. She had no other choice but to travel from the North East to Gujarat in this circumstance. We are aware of how challenging beginning from scratch is. She had travelled for two nights. She had come to our first meeting and was sobbing uncontrollably. She had support in locating a job and a rental home, and a woman advocate had promised to assist her in obtaining her daughter's return. And that marked the grand start of the goal.

In the second instance, a 24 year old Canadian man pushed himself to get over a breakup. He was unable to tell his parents about it, and naturally, he had no trustworthy friends around. His journey was made simple by simple discussion. When a person is strong enough, they simply want to share and You are not alone - Human is near you" was there.

Well, these days we use stories to bring a change in the system and society.

So let's help me out and do our part to improve the world without spending even a minute or a money. You are important to us!

Many of us contribute money to NGOs to earn some blessing. Here you will get a chance to balance Karma and Dharma in right way by advocating issues. 🙂
