About Me: I am a freelance print and radio journalist, born in Ecuador. I report on immigration, social movements, and indigenous rights. I often like to say that I live beyond borders since everywhere I've been has shaped the person that I am today. I have greater faith in human rights than in nations, in grassroots movements than in politicians, and in the strength of the human spirit than in institutions to foster change. I also believe that although we are all connected, each of has a unique story to tell and deserves to be heard.
