Introducing myself and my journal: Under the Sycamore Trees

About Me:
I am an advocate. I am a medically retired Christian clergy woman. I volunteer with Iowans for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. I am very involved with my denominations clergy group: The American Baptist Minister's Council. All the I do is online. I am physically limited due to a congenital condition that affects people in their fifth decade and other health problems. Far from narrowing my world it has broadened it! I now have friends with similar interests throughout the world as I foster online communities. I advocate on multiple social issues but focus on women and children affected by violence. I am married and a mother of two young adult children. I love bird watching and nature, growing plants and fabric arts. I love to study politics and history Please consider becoming a friend on Facebook.
