Introducing myself and my journal: The power within

About Me:
My name is Lindiwe Dube. I was born 48 years ago in Baragwaneth Hospital in South Africa, Johannesburg. I was born in a family of four, one boy and three girls. I am married with five children namely Progress Nokuthula (28 years), Prudence Porcia (20 years) , Pertinacious Rose (17 years), Princess Leonorah (11 years), Pacian Francis Jr. (5 years). I now live in Queens Park East, Bulawayo.
During my time of study, we did not have computers and as a result I was computer illiterate although I was a professional and qualified nurse. In 2009, after I had retired from nursing, I started to do computer lessons with the Creative Centre for Communication and Development. As an ambitious lady, I would like to start my own business which will definitely need me to use computers. This platform that has been offered to me by Pulse Wire will help me share my experiences at global level. I also hope to learn more about what other women are doing so that we can help each other to grow.
I like doing computers because it gives me the opportunity to communicate with other people from all over the world and this may help me in my plans to do a degree in marketing.

My Passions:
Human Rights, Business,

My Challenges:
High cost of communication

My Vision for the Future:
Women and girls with easy access to affordable internet services

My Areas of Expertise:
HIV, Gender
