Introducing myself and my journal: The Power Of Women...

About Me:
I think of myself as a “citizen of the world”. I have spent much of my career trying to implement change through my work and my advocacy. As the iron curtain was falling across Central Europe, I consulted with the Hungarian government to develop a cross-cultural communications course for their officials; I've taught management techniques to female entrepreneurs in emerging markets, assertiveness skills to businesswomen in Australia, and established a woman's leadership program for one of the Czech Republic’s largest corporations. My most rewarding experiences have been my travels to Afghanistan as a consultant, and advocate. I continue to work with Afghan women to help them become self-sufficient and independent.

Stateside, I'm the founder of a woman's business networking and mentoring organization called "Power Of Women" http://www.powerofwomen.net

My Passions:
Empowering women at home & in underdeveloped countries

My Challenges:
Accepting the limitations of what I can realistically accomplish

My Vision for the Future:
A world where women are safe and respected

My Areas of Expertise:
Bringing people together in high-performing teams
