About Me: I am 60 years old, born to the Inupiaq Malemuit tribe, Unalakleet, Alaska before it became a State of America. There was no electricity then and we lived a true indigenous life. Most of my writings and publications refer to this time and shortly thereafter when we became "full" Americans. I have two sons and seven grandchildren. I am a cancer survivor.
