Introducing myself and my journal: Sister's Keeper

About Me:
Lydia is a Lawyer, Human Rights Activist, member of The Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom in UK. She is the Executive Director for Hope for All Trust and Chairlady of Anerley French and Swahili Club a charitable organisation she founded in 2001 helping disadvantaged children living in South London learn French and Swahili.
In 2006, Lydia’s life completely changed when her 7 years old son (who was 9 months old then) was diagnosed with pneumococcal meningitis. She proudly took on the role of caring for her son full time. Her vision, beliefs and expectations in life changed. Lydia refused to sit around, feel sorry for herself.
In 2007 Lydia took on the challenge; decided to go to Congo and helped hurting women survivor of rape during the 8 years of war in Congo. She was in pain but decided to go and ease someone else’s pain. On her return from that trip Hope For All Trust was born. Since then she has dedicated her life to helping others rebuild their lives. She believes…lift one person and they will lift others.

My Passions:

My Vision for the Future:

My Areas of Expertise:
