Introducing myself and my journal: Saving the Whole Woman

About Me:
Hello,

I am founder and creator of the Whole Woman method of stabilizing and reversing pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. My book, Saving the Whole Woman, and website www.wholewoman.com have been available to women since 2003. My messages are (1) The female pelvic organ support system is a postural system that develops under the forces of gravity as we move through our lives from early childhood to the teenage years. Pelvic organ support and the natural shape of the female spine are one and the same - there is no difference. (2) Almost all women will eventually develop symptoms of prolapse and/or urinary incontinence as they lose their natural shape. Prolapse is epidemic in postpartum populations. Pulling in the belly and tucking the tailbone under slowly dislodge pelvic organs from their anatomical positions. (3) There is no surgical solution for these conditions. The surgeries are mutilating and not curative. The uterus is the hub of the wheel of pelvic organ support. The gynecologic view of female pelvic orientation is antiquated and erroneous. There is no pelvic floor, but rather a wall of muscle at the back of the body, as in four-legged creatures. It is a profound truth that we are horizontal creatures from the hips down, and vertical from the waist up. In natural anatomy, we carry our pelvic organs against the lower abdominal wall and away from the pelvic outlet at the back of the body. To hysterectomize a woman is to forever remove her strength, balance and natural function. (4) When we change the ways in which we sit, stand and move, we change our symptoms. Women of all ages are gaining results by returning to their natural pelvic organ support system. Help stop the Western form of female genital mutilation! Change your posture, change your prolapse.
