Introducing myself and my journal: Safer Routes & Places For Everyone

About Me:
Hi,

My names is Tea and I'm a co-founder of Mappsafe, a crowd-sourcing mobile app that reduces violence in public areas by mapping safe & unsafe places for a) anti-social behaviour b) poor street lighting and c) obscure / deserted pathways and shares this info with users to increase awareness and with relevant authorities (& enterprise partners) to improve policing, street lighting, and community safety & development.

I'm passionate about human rights and equality for all and I'm, so excited that I stumbled on this website. I truly believe that technology is an amazing tool that helps with raising awareness by giving access and sharing of information, which in turn empowers women in even the most remote communities to raise and talk about issues and by encourage women to stand up for their rights.

I'm looking forward to be part of World Pulse community.

Tea
