Introducing myself and my journal: Promotion of Women's Rights through Counseling, Capacity Building and Networking



About Me:
I have completed my MSW( Medical and Psychiatry) from St. Joseph's College(Autonomous) Bangalore, India. A highly enthusiastic individual, worked with mentally and physically challenged people, providing support to enable service users to help themselves. Maintainig a professional relationship with service users, acting as a guide, advocate or as a critical friend. Currently working with Centre for Social Research( NGO) in New Delhi as the Field Coordinator, being in touch with the ground realities (Urban Slums) of New Delhi. Working with the Urban Slum Communities under the organization. Previously interned with NGOs like Bosco Mane (Centre for Street children), Sandhya Kirana (A day care centre for old age and Dementia), Association of People with Disability. Also gained an experience in hospitals like; Manasa Neuropsychiatric Hospital and Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Bangalore.



My Passions:
To do social work and act as a change agent to the society

My Vision for the Future:
To put my best ability in order to develop the poorest of the poor section of our society
