About Me:
I am an artistic, crazy, soulful, fun loving, over charismatic, sometimes persnikity and a little grouchy and sarcastic unmarried African American woman in my late 30s ( LAWD I'M OLD!!!!) But I am a very youthful old lady. I have no children yet, but I would like to have some. Or at least one. I refuse to have children out of wedlock or be connected to some of my very bad relatiohship choices hence remaining without children until I find the right guy to father them. Growing up without a father or even much of a father figure as left me very fearful of bringing children into this world without having that support. Growing up without a father is like having a hole in your heart that never heals. It aches you from time to time, but eventually you get used to the discomfort. People will often say how can you miss something you never had? I say, how can you not feel the absence of something that is a part of you? Every child at some point realizes they do not have that significant other half in their life and will ask the question \" where is my daddy?\". In 2010 my luck and tenancity to find my own father. I flew home to LA to meet him Labor Day weekend. Today is actually the one year anniversay of me meeting my father. And it only took 38 years. Oh yeah, I'm originally from Los Angeles and have lived in New York for 5 years now. All in various parts of Brooklyn. Brooklyn has been a good fit for me. Right at this moment I am sitting here at work, late, to help my supervisior with a report that she's been needing my help with for over a month and flaking on me every time we scheduled to do it. Including now...the clock is ticking 45 min past 5pm and I am all but delioriously tired listening to the rain and soft soothing music wishing now that I was already almost home instead of an hour from it! Desparately trying to keep my head from slammin down hard face first on my desk.....no matter what time it is it's not good to fall asleep at work. Wait what happened? I closed my eyes for a second and 5 minutes went by.
