About Me: I am a biologist/ecologist and I also teach a performing arts group that consists primarily of high school-aged girls in the U.S. I believe that women have made great strides in obtaining leadership roles throughout the world, but we still have a long way to go and I see it as my duty to make a difference, even in a small way. I especially passionate about encouraging young females to pursue post-secondary academic endeavors, especially in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
