Introducing myself and my journal: My Sistas' Voice ( Her voice My Voice)!



About Me:
Hello everyone,



I am a 23 year old teacher of Mathematics , who is a young and energetic. I believe in the dignity of simplicity and the integrity of morality. My very colourful philosophy sates “give to others the best of you”. I live my philosophy on a daily basis as I am currently a teacher of Mathematics and the co-coordinator of the I'm Glad I'm a Girl Foundation. In our foundation we offers sessions which facilitates teen mentorship for teenage girls, ages 13-17 years from at-risk, depressed and/or marginalized urban and rural communities. Programmes include sporting activities, creative sessions, excursions, expos, large and small group sessions that are centred on effective career planning, financial education, technological advancement,sexual and reproductive health rights and economic empowerment that encourages the holistic development of a girl to ensure a valuable contribution to her family, community and society.



My Passions:
I have a passion for volunteering and learning new things.



My Challenges:
my challenge is to give girls in my country a positive public platform to express themselves.



My Vision for the Future:
Girls’ voices included at institutions, in media, at events and in campaigns. Provide girls with a platform to voice their opinions, and work with them to strengthen and amplify their voices
