Introducing myself and my journal: Leveraging digital tools to address violence against women

About Me:
I am a feminist social epidemiologist conducting research to inform the development and implementation of policies and programs to promote health and gender equity. My work has focused on documenting the ways in which gender inequalities impact women's mental and physical health, and exploring family, community and health systems responses. Currently, I'm working with a range of organizations to explore how digital tools - in the hands of women and community health workers (who are also largely women) - can be used to inspire, accelerate, and amplify responses to violence against women. My overarching goal is to generate evidence on what works to reduce violence and promote women's health and human rights.

My Passions:
\"Action research\" to advance health, equality and rights

My Areas of Expertise:
gender equity and equality, women's health
