Introducing myself and my journal: Journey of Hope

About Me:

I am a social worker and a mother of three. I'm the ED for a local non for profit organization that works in slum communities in Liberia, where we find the poorest of the poor. I have a lot of experience in working with people especially women and children. I love mobilizing and organizing communities to take actions to eliminate violence and all forms of discrimination against women and girls, and to promote gender equality. I love to build the capacity of women in leadership skills to enable them to partake in decision making in their homes, communities and at the place of work.

As as an elected volunteer community leader also, I work with individuals and institutions to promote peace initiatives and community development within our community and the country at large.

I love to spend time with my family; my husband and three beautiful boys.

I love networking, so please do not hesitate to contact me!
