Introducing myself and my journal: It is Never Just "Me"



About Me:
I am Rasha,30, Egyptian, African, senior editor and freelance writer. I have been working in the field of media for six years. My focus is on reporting culture and religion. I always have a mission behind my work which is bridging the gap between two parted worlds: East and West.
I work as a fulltime senior editor managing two editorial pages for Onislam.net website. Meanwhile I am a contributor to The College World Reporters and Suite 101.
Though I live in the heart of the Egyptian capital, Cairo, I have been to countries like USA, the UK, Switzerland, and Qatar.
My career goal is to work as investigative journalist in the field of cross- culture, inter-religious, dialogues.
Two months ago, I was honored by College World Reporters with two awards, the best feature and the best Middle East reporter, 2010.



Other than that, I eat books and have a great passion to travel around the globe…
