Introducing myself and my journal: Interfaith

About Me:
Hello!

My name is Kelebohile Nkhereanye, I was born and raised in Maseru, Lesotho and joined my parents in New York, 1978. I have been working for New York City Transit Authority for 17 years as Station Agent/Railroad clerk.

I love education, activism (women, HIV/AIDS, and food justice) and income generating projects. I have A.A in Hospitality Management NY College of Techonology, my interest is educating people about eating local, fresh, seasonal and healthy food. I didn't go in hotels or resturants to follow my degree, B.A from Hunter College majoring in Sociology and Women's Studies, and MPA from Metropolitan College of New York, my interest was HIV/AIDS and it has been an eye opening experience even though I am not focusing on HIV as much as food justice. I am studying to be an interfaith minister and learning from all the women of the world.

I am thankful to a friend who share information about World Pulse and looking forward to learning more about other women. Also, I am looking forward sharing my stories and hearing other women's stories as being part of World Pulse.
