Introducing myself and my journal: Intentional Living

About Me:
My undergraduate studies drew me to feminist issues and the role that women have played in history and the culture of the civilizations of the world. Most recently for an occupation, I taught fifth grade in the Denver Public School system in Denver, Colorado, US. I discovered my passion for the learning curve and I hope to live my life as a teacher and a learner. In relocating to Portland, OR, I have taken a new challenge with an amazing organization called These Numbers Have Faces.

My Passions:
learning, learning to be present, connection and developing relationships, loving, reading, working for social justice and change, exploring the natural beauty of the earth

My Challenges:
Patience, meditation, growing a garden, manifesting peace and serenity

My Vision for the Future:
Living in a world that promotes community and recognizes global citizenship as the expectation of all.

My Areas of Expertise:
teaching, raising awareness, volunteering time, energy and creativity.
