Introducing myself and my journal: Innocent Hands

About Me:
I am Sama Tanveer from Pakistan.
I am currently pursuing an Economics Undergraduate degree from the University \" Lahore University of Management Sciences\".
I like to devote my free time , which includes my semester breaks, etc, for the cause of female childrens literacy.
Here in Pakistan, many parents send their young daughters to different houses to take the job of a maid so they can get money.
They believe education is not important for women because of two reasons :
- They will get married and have kids, hence get busy in running thier own family
- They can never make any difference

Whereas, the girls themselves are very smart and keen to learn.
I have done internships and also managed an internship at the girls schools where the girls were not charged any tuition fee. The dedication they had was commendable.

Also, the work such welfare organisations are doing in Pakistan is very praiseworthy as well.
I have had personal conversations with such students as well.
I will be very keen to share their thoughts and works in my next journal post.
