Introducing myself and my journal: Growing from Girls to Women Issues



About Me:
I am Martin-Mary and my father's name is Falana, a native of Ado-Ekiti the capital city of Ekiti State in Nigeria. Born into this world on the 29th day of November, early 70s. I am seriously motivated by love to serve humanity. I am a gender activist and down to heart development worker. I have been working in this sector for over 15 years. I have attended and facilitated trainings at both local and international fora, with physical presence in all the continents. I am the Executive Director/Founder of Kids & Teens Resource Centre (K&TRC), a registered non-governmental organization established to advance, promote and support efforts of government and other stakeholders involved in children and young people's developmental activities.



My Passions:
Securing the future for young people especially girls



My Challenges:
Too many ideas little resources



My Vision for the Future:
A secured future where girls and boys alike are given enabling environment to achieve their potentials, gain more control over their lives and being able to contribute to the development of their communities.



My Areas of Expertise:
Adolescent Reproductive health, Poverty eradication, child development, peace and conflict resolution and pro-poor governance
