Introducing myself and my journal: For Lillian

About Me:
I am retired now. My profession was Labor-Relations Mediator. I worked for the State of Minnesota for 21 plus years. Prior to that I was a Union Agent and represented 87 percent of women in my bargaining units. I am a mother of two children. Christine and Bill are 48 and 45 years of age. A Grandmother of a 12 year old grandaughter.

I have been an activist most of my adult years for women. Equity in pay, sexual harassment, really to have a voice at home, work and in the world. None of this stops when I retired. I am amazed that training is a continuous part of being. Women in rural WI where I live now still need support and training about their rights in this year. We who are old at doing this need to continue to be a live, well and have voice in our communities for other women. I think I might just be a Crone.

My Passions:
My community

My Challenges:
Changing to a green community

My Vision for the Future:
For women in my community to speak up and be heard

My Areas of Expertise:
Training in conflict resolution. Teaching groups to work together and build community.
