Introducing myself and my journal: Continents Apart, But Very Connected

About Me:
I'm an author, mental health commissioner of my county, retired educator and counselor, as well as child sexual abuse prevention mentor. I'm a member of an organization that supports women, and chairperson of the Legal Advocacy Fund which supports women fighting discrimination in the workplace, home and military. I've been a World Pulse listener in the past and look forward to hearing the stories of the courageous, innovative and accomplished women from all corners of the globe. I hail you and your determination and energy to make life better for your communities and yourselves, as well as for those in faraway places.

My Passions:
liberal causes, gay marriages, end to discrimination and persecution.

My Challenges:
Time to achieve all I hope to do.

Reversal of government corruption, greed and power quests that effect us all to one degree or another.
