Introducing myself and my journal: Blue Lotus Musings

About Me:
I struggle to be a real feminist. I talk like one and call myself one, but I get self-centered and stuck. It is my desire to surround myself with the real deal feminists so that I may continue growing a habit of self-love, selfless giving and responsible action taken locally and globally. I respect the many spiritual traditions of our world. I study goddess mythology and archetypes. I pray, journal, meditate and do yoga. I burn candles and incense and gather with women. Every day I work to surrender my personal will to the field of consciousness. I am a mother. I am very hard on myself and sometimes my daughter. I get confused and work too hard, do too much and get sick. I love. I look deeply into people and I find great joy in observing human nature. I believe at the heart of each soul there is the desire to know union, love, freedom and peace. I believe, I hope, I dream and I have faith in the power of our commonality in the midst of great diversity. Lastly, I believe that the Divine Feminine in both men and women is leading us into a better world. I believe that this balance is coming forth. I believe that women rising up does in fact support men in having to do the same. And our children follow. Bless to You!
