Introducing myself and my journal: Battle in quest for justice

About Me:
Am 51 years old, married . Am a Interior Designer by profession,but took a sabbatical in order to tend and care for my only parent, my father aged 85 years.My family hails from the place called the ' Rome of the East ', Goa which is a tiny state on the west coast of India.My father needed help in his daily affairs due to poor health and since none of my siblings were interested in helping him , I decided to do my bit for him, and I have only joy and no regrets in taking this loving duty.
I do so want to set up a facility for all aged citizens for our side of the world as I've seen how neglected and abandoned they feel at a time when all the need and deserve is care and love and treatment of dignity!They need to be shown and made to feel useful to society in their own tiny way . They should be allowed to interact with others in similar ages and situation so that they realize that there is more to life than counting the days to their graves!
