About Me: I am a 39 year old female, working as a full time career firefighter. I am one of 13 females working with 520 men. I'm happily divorced, no children yet and enjoy my friends and family. The struggles and scrutiny of working at a firehouse are daily and sometimes more exhausting than the job itself. We are trying to bring more women into the fire service but that is a struggle as well.
