Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I have a penchant for thinking outside the box, the habit of focusing on opportunities rather than problems, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

And I like to take walks...really long walks. In 2011, I walked the Camino de Santiago, a 500 mile pilgrimage across northern Spain. In 2014, I walked the 360 mile inaugural launch of European Peace Walk from Vienna, Austria to Trieste, Italy.

I am excited to be working at World Pulse and furthering their objectives as a partner in the Women and the Web Alliance. This groundbreaking public-private partnership aims to create a movement addressing the Internet gender Internet gap by bringing more than 600,000 young women online in Nigeria and Kenya over the next three years.

My Passions:
Traveling, cooking dinner with friends, reading, catching a great movie, challenging myself to do things I've not done before, empowering women through the use of technology.

My Challenges:
Procrastination. I tend to be an 11th-hour wonder.
