Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I blog and write about numerous human right issues that effect women, including wrestling with my own faith in God and the patriarchy/misogyny and cultural harms I see within the religious culture and how to reconcile both without compromising truth or my values. In this process I have found numerous doctrines and beliefs that stem from years of development, both socially and economically that have filtered in or assimilated into faith and that I believe have been one of the factors that contribute to why women, culturally, at least in the west, have assimilated to a large degree into identifying with harmful beliefs. While searching through my own failures as well as growth, I continue to learn even more about the plight of women elsewhere, what the solutions are I do not know, but I have learned individual outlook may have a strong influence in working towards change, so I share what I can, maybe it will help in some small way.

My Passions:
God, my walk with Him in Truth not dogma, women's human rights, human rights, fighting to end poverty, homelessness, ending fear to confront evils that harm and destroy souls

My Challenges:
being true to my beliefs without hypocrisy, because if I can't live them then all the words I speak are futile, what God revealed to me in a very real way

My Vision for the Future:
to do more hands on and not just speaking/or writing, to lift up and help others to know they have worth

My Areas of Expertise:
basically just a lot of overall knowledge of human right abuses with knowledge of the ideologies that have contributed, the flaws especially in many of the ideologies that promise freedom but fail in that they ignore the humanity of women
