Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
Everybody has a story to tell.

I'm a public relations professional, former reporter/producer, lover of life, cheerleader for clients, friends and family. I like to describe my life as a collection of uncanny experiences. I have a tendency to end up in the middle of amazing occurrences – more perfect storms than calculated planning. Some will say I am optimistic to a fault, and I say I am fearless and passionate about enjoying every moment in this life we have.

Just a few surreal experiences I’ve stumbled into:

Launching the first cellular phone company in the Pacific NW, Cellular One (now AT&T Wireless);
Breaking the story with KATU TV in Portland regarding the Rajneeshee Cult that set up camp in Oregon;
Getting paired with Jimi Hendrix's dad for a golf round at a public course in Seattle;
Leading a team of national reporters to China to tour the tombs of China's emperors before the Son of Heaven exhibition in Seattle;
Working at Enron Broadband as a VP of corporate communications and then getting subpoenaed 6 times to testify in the trial-of-the-century;
Getting to see my all-time fave Jackson Browne live in concert at a friend's backyard in Bend, Oregon!

I am passionate about music and am often recruited to create playlists and guest DJ at parties. This love for music once landed me as the host of my own Classic Soul Hour on KISN radio. My family keeps me busy with theater and fine arts, golf, boating, and our beloved road trips in this beautiful state of Oregon.

My life has been shaped by both incredible and everyday experiences and the amazing people I have been fortunate to meet. I believe magic happens with people, a story and the passion to tell it. I can’t wait for the next adventure.
