Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I graduated with a degree in Women's Studies and I currently work for an international semi-conductor company as a web designer. After college I got pulled into the corporate world and now 10 years later I am getting pulled back to women's global issues. The fire has been sparked but I have no idea yet what it is that I want to do but I do know that I want to use my creative gifts to help empower women.

One of the things that I'm doing today is making handcrafted soap. It is one of my passions, it combines science, art and baking into one. Soapmaking makes my creative side happy. :-) I want to some day empower women in emerging markets by teaching them the art of soapmaking.

I am excited to be on this journey and look forward to connecting with amazing women.
