Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I am Sally Martino-Fisher, I have been involved in the women's movement, and the neighborhood for over 35 years. I am married and have 4 grown childrern, 3 of them are married and have children of their own. I have played a key roll in the neighborhood womens movement representing poor and working class women however, I was lucky enough to be accepted in the traditional women's movement and that allowed me to represent and speak for those women who were unable to speak for themselves. I was president of the National Association of Neighborhoods (the first women president elected), that permitted me to bridge a gap between the women's movement and the neighborhood movement.
